Below, Lead Massage Therapist and Esthetician Megan Nicholas shares her top three favorite spa treatments and why guests love them. We also spoke with Spa Director Sheri Thimas to hear more about her overall vision to create the best spa on The Cape and beyond.

1\. Ocean Massage

“I really love the Ocean Massage which is our signature massage and also one of the most popular. Since the spa opened in 2006, this treatment has evolved and grown into what it is today. I think what I love the most is the combination of the Osea Vagus Nerve Oil, the hot stones and the unique flowing style which mimics the movement of the waves on the ocean. The nervous system is instantly relaxed and muscles are soothed. Many of our therapists have been perfecting this massage for years and it is truly an experience unique to our spa.”

2\. Signature Facial

“The Signature Facial is definitely my favorite. It gives me the freedom as an esthetician to really create a truly customized experience for each guest. Many times people aren’t really sure what type of facial will be best for them so this is a perfect choice in that situation. It is really fun to put together the perfect combination of products for each individual.”

3\. Espresso Mud Scrub

“I absolutely love the Espresso Mud Scrub. The scent of the product is amazing and it does such a fantastic job polishing the skin. The application of Alpine Arnica Oil not only hydrates and feels wonderful but it also has undeniable anti-inflammatory benefits for the muscles and body.”

When I started at Chatham Bars Inn over 3 years ago as the Spa Director, my vision for this Spa consisted of what I believe to be the three most important elements in creating a successful Spa on the Cape and beyond:

Starting this venture at Cape Cod’s Most Beautiful Address admittedly gave me a head start in accomplishing my vision.
