Seaside “Not-So-Scary” Halloween Family Weekend: October 29 – 31

Family pumpkin carving, a costumed Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt, a Bonfire Boo Bash and more – we have a fun and “not-so-scary” Halloween Weekend planned for you and your family. We’ve even created special “spooky and fun” kids menus for the weekend! Please note: Advance registration for activities is required and outdoor activities are weather dependent.

Family Pumpkin Carving & Trick or Treat Tote Bag Decorating


Saturday, October 30th
10:00am – 12:00pm

Carve a pumpkin, decorate a tote bag for trick or treating and enjoy cider, hot cocoa and cookies! Pumpkins along with carving and decorating tools will be provided and you can even have your pumpkin on display during the Bonfire Boo Bash if you’d like.

The Family Pumpkin Carving & Tote Bag Decorating event will be held on the South Lawn. It is complimentary and open to the local community as well as guests of the Inn and members. Please register in advance with Concierge at 508.945.6871 or concierge@chathambarsinn.com.

Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt & Bonfire Boo Bash


Saturday, October 30th
3:30pm – 6:00pm

Families will meet (dressed in costume!) at the South Lawn at 3:30pm to receive their Trick or Treat Clues which will lead them around to different locations on property where an attendant will be located at each station, dressed up, handing out full-size candy bars to all. All clues will lead families to the South Lawn for the Bonfire Boo Bash featuring tiki torches, spooky music, bonfires, s’mores, cider, hot cocoa and a cash bar.

The Treasure Hunt & Boo Bash event is complimentary for guests of the Inn and members. Tickets for the local community are available for $50 per person. Please register in advance with Concierge at 508.945.6871 or concierge@chathambarsinn.com.

Special “Spooky & Fun” Kids Menus


Friday through Sunday
Our culinary team is creating specialty kids menus that are spooky and fun for breakfast, lunch and dinner at all our restaurants throughout the weekend. Past creations have included candy corn parfaits, witches waffles, jack-o-lantern pancakes, spaghetti and eyeballs, spider web pizza, mummy dogs and worms in dirt.

Our restaurants are open to guests, members and the local community. Pricing will be reflected on the menus.
