Our Kids Crew promises to make each child’s visit to Chatham Bars Inn unforgettable! The Night Owls evening sessions begin June 26 and our complimentary morning and afternoon sessions start June 27. Kids Crew is offered daily through September 5th! Additional afternoon sessions are offered in May and June on select dates. Please see our Events Calendar for dates and details. Each activity is hands-on and innovative, with an emphasis on local fun! Our dedication to providing diverse and exciting programming for children is unparalleled throughout the region.

SAMPLE PROGRAM DETAILS
The Chatham Bars Inn Kids Crew offers three programs: Beach Buddies (for ages 4 to 6), Clam Diggers (for ages 7 to 12) and Night Owls (for ages 4 to 12). To ensure that your child has a fantastic day with us, please make sure that they bring sneakers, sunscreen, a hat or sunglasses and any necessary medications.
Morning Sessions
Morning sessions run every day from 10:00am to 12:00pm and are complimentary. Reservations are required.
Afternoon Sessions
Afternoon sessions run every day from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and are complimentary. Reservations are required.
Night Owls Evening Sessions
Night Owls evening sessions run every day from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and cost $70 per child. Dinner will be provided. Reservations are required.

Who can participate in the Kids Crew?
All Chatham Bars Inn registered hotel guests between the ages of 4 and 12 are encouraged to participate in our programs and join in the fun!
Is the Kids Crew supervised?
Yes – our counselors are the best of the best! All counselors have previous experience in childcare and supervision, have certifications in both First Aid and CPR and attend extensive training sessions.
What kinds of activities are offered in the Kids Crew?
Kids can experience all kinds of adventures on and off property here at Chatham Bars Inn!
Beach Buddies: Our 4 to 6 year olds can participate in decorating birdhouses in our Build for the Birds session, take a trip to Chatham Fire Department and see how the firefighters or enjoy a beach day and build sand castles.
Clam Diggers: Our 7 to 12 year olds can visit the Chatham Anglers baseball team for a baseball clinic or participate in creative dance class and see whose moves are better.
Night Owls: Our all-inclusive night program is open to ages 4 to 12.

When is the Kids Crew offered?
The Beach Buddies and Clam Diggers run daily from June 27th through September 5th. Two sessions are offered daily: the morning session is 10:00am to 12:00pm; the afternoon session is 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Our evening Night Owls program is 5:00pm to 8:00pm from June 26th through September 5th.
Is my child able to stay later than regular program hours?
Our Kids Crew sessions are offered specifically from 10:00am - 12:00pm, 1:00pm - 3:00pm and 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Chatham Bars Inn will gladly provide you with information regarding babysitting services with Summer Sitters if you wish to have your children supervised after program hours or you can contact them directly at 508.237.8965.
There will be a charge of $10.00 per child per 15 minutes for late pick-up.
Do we need to make reservations in advance for these programs?
Yes, pre-registration is required. Please reserve by calling Concierge at 508.945.6871 as far in advance as possible. If you are signing up for an evening session please reserve by 3pm. Walk-Ins will be accepted based on availability.
Is there a program registration form to fill out?
Yes, you will receive program information and a registration form at check-In. This form should be completed prior to arriving at the registration desk for your child’s first session.
NOTE: All children in the same family can be listed on one form.
What is the cost of the Kids Crew?
Morning Session (10:00am-12:00pm): Complimentary
Afternoon Session (1:00pm – 3:00pm): Complimentary
Night Owls Session (5:00pm-8:00pm): $70.00/child*
*Price is inclusive of a dinner and a take home craft
Where do the programs meet and where are the sessions held?
Beach Buddies meet at the Eldredge Room.
Clam Diggers meet at the Alden Room.
Please note that many programs take place around the property or offsite and that children will not always be in their program rooms.
Is my child able to sign him/herself in and out of the program without my permission?
A parent or guardian must be present for your child to sign in and out of the programs. At registration you will be asked to note any person who is able to sign your child out of the Kids Crew.
I have children that would be in different age groups. Can they stay together?
The Chatham Bars Inn Recreation team has organized appropriate activities for your children that correlate directly with our specific age groups:
Beach Buddies: Ages 4-6
Clam Diggers: Ages 7-12
Night Owls: Ages: 4- 12
For the safety and enjoyment of your children we strictly adhere to these designated age groups. The only exceptions made would be for your older child to join the younger group if he/she wishes to stay with a sibling or friend.
My child is almost potty-trained. Can they attend the program?
All Kids Crew attendees must be potty-trained. No exceptions.
Is it okay for my nanny to stay with my children during the program?
No, Chatham Bars Inn Kids Crew is a drop-off program and other authority figures are seen as a distraction to the children’s participation in our activities.
Will my child be provided with meals during each session?
All children will be offered a snack during the morning and afternoon session. Dinner is included with the Night Owls program and will be served at 6:00pm.
What do the kids eat for dinner?
We developed the Night Owls menu with age appropriate options to choose from each night for dinner. Please Inquire about the menu options at the Concierge Desk when making reservations.
My child has food allergies. Can he/she attend the program?
The Kids Crew at Chatham Bars Inn respects and honors all allergy requests pertaining to your children. Please indicate all allergies on the registration form for your child, and communicate this information with our counselors.
All snacks and dinners provided do not contain nuts or nut products.
My child has special needs. Can he/she attend the program?
All children are encouraged to participate in the programs! Please keep in mind that your child will be in a group setting and our counselors are responsible for a number of children at one time. If your child requires one-on-one attention, you may opt to send additional care.
What should my child bring with him/her to the program?
Many of our scheduled activities take place outdoors. Please ensure your child comes to each session with sunscreen on. Other items such as water bottles, hats, and necessary medications are useful as well. Please label all items. Note: children should wear a swimsuit to sessions that take place at the beach.
Are there other activities at Chatham Bars Inn that do not have fees associated with them?
Absolutely! Check out the Recreation Weekly for all activities on property. Please note that although leaders are present to facilitate these events, parents are responsible for the supervision of their own children.
