2023 April School Vacation

You’re never too old for school vacation! We have designed a week of fantastic activities from April 15 – 22, 2023 featuring scavenger hunts, walking and biking tours, floral arranging, painting, fitness and yoga classes, meditation and more. Our heated outdoor pool will be open and we will be offering our Kids Crew program with fun interactive activities all week as well. We even have an Educators Appreciation offer available (subject to availability) to teachers, professors, and all who are part of school systems including support staff.

Kids Crew
April 15 – 22
Daily 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Complimentary to guests of the Inn

Drop off the kids for a fun afternoon of supervised activities such as Arts and Crafts, Wii Gaming System, Ping Pong, Legos, Board Games and many more games and activities. Kids Crew is complimentary and open only to guests of the Inn ages 4 - 12 with a maximum of 10 children per session. South Lawn Games

Come have some fun in the sun, while participating in various games and field sports. Participate in the activity of the day or one of our other games such as bocce or cornhole. Compete with or against family and friends while sharing the fun with other guests of the Inn. Chatham Walks
Saturday April 15th and 22nd 
10:30am - 12:00pm
$20 per person

On these family-friendly guided walks, history and fun facts will be shared as we walk down Shore Drive admiring the ocean and stopping at the Iconic Lighthouse. We will continue to Veteran’s field and back to the Inn. The 2.5 mile walk takes about 90 minutes and ends back at the Inn. Floral Arranging Class - Silk Spring Wreath (Ages 18+)

Join Chatham Bars Inn’s Fine Gardener Pam Vasques to design your very own floral arrangement and leave with new skills and your floral creation to take home with you.  This class is open to the public as well as guests of the Inn and members. Chatham Bike Tour (Ages 16+)

Join our guide for a leisurely bike tour through the town of Chatham. Making stops along the way, our guide will provide you with fun facts, photos, and lasting memories of our quaint little village. Points of interest include the following: Oyster Pond, Monomoy Wildlife Refuge, Stage Harbor, Main street, Chatham Lighthouse and much more.  Bikes are provided and tours are open to the public as well as guests of the Inn and members. Painting with Prosecco
Friday April 21st                                                                                                                
4:00pm - 5:30pm
$75 per person

Create your own seascape on canvas, inspired by Monet.  You will be guided by a professional artist and teacher, who will take you step by step through the process.  No experience needed!  You will be surprised and delighted by what you can do! Each attendee will be provided with paint, brushes, an easel, canvas and instruction, everything needed to complete their painting while sipping Prosecco and enjoying Chatham Bars Inn finest crudité, cheese, and charcuterie. Open to the public, each class is $75 per person which includes all materials. All ages are welcome (21+ to enjoy the Prosecco).
