Chatham Seaside Links is located right next to Chatham Bars Inn, making it the obvious choice for players who want to sneak in a quick 9 during their vacation. The course has been in operation since 1895, but recent renovations and great groundskeeping mean the course remains in stellar shape all season long.

The Captains is actually two championship golf courses in one location. Both the “Port” and “Starboard” courses are challenging, 18-hole courses designed to keep golfers of all levels engaged. The meticulously-maintained Blue Rock Golf Course in South Yarmouth is an award-winning 18-hole par 3 course, challenging for experienced golfers yet welcoming for new golfers. Named one of the "Top 10 Par 3 Courses in the World" by Golf Magazine, Blue Rock’s holes range from 103 to 255 yards, with four holes over water. The Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds golf course used to be the home of the Barnstable County Fair, but since 1992, it has been a destination for golfers on Cape Cod looking for a great day out.

Founded in 1892, Highland Links is known as Cape Cod’s oldest golf course and one of its most beautiful. Calling itself “a public golf course with a private club feeling,” the Brookside Club aims to elevate each golfer’s experience. The course is not as long as some of the others on this list, which may turn off some veteran golfers. But as Cognizant Golf states, “what the course lacks in length, it makes up for in strategy,” demanding smart play all the way through.

Squirrel Run is also a great place to bring junior golfers for an exciting outing. There are no par 5s and most holes require more strategy than they do distance. It’s also about halfway to Boston from CBI, making it a nice place to stop and get a bit of golf in on your way to and from the city.
