Can I have my wedding
ceremony on the grounds?
Yes. Chatham Bars Inn offers
several distinct locations
for your wedding ceremony.
The South Lawn, located only
steps from the beach, can
accommodate ceremonies with
up to 200 guests. The Main
Lawn, located just off the
Main Dining Room with a full
ocean view, can accommodate
ceremonies with up to 200
guests. The Boat House Lawn,
located adjacent to the
Boathouse and steps from the
beach, can accommodate
ceremonies for up to 70
guests. The Gazebo,
surrounded by landscaped
gardens and ocean views, can
accommodate up to 30 guests.
Monomoy ballroom, with its
soaring timbered ceilings,
brass chandeliers and honey
pine paneled walls, provides
a richly spacious backdrop
for a ceremony, comfortably
accommodating up to 250
guests. The minimum number
for wedding ceremonies is
200 people. Ceremonies can
only be booked in
conjunction with wedding
receptions at Chatham Bars
Inn.

on-site ceremony?

How long is a wedding
reception allowed to run?
Afternoon receptions run
from 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Evening receptions are
available between 6:00 p.m.
– 10:00 p.m. Additional
evening parties can be
booked in conjunction with
afternoon receptions. Please
contact our catering
representative.
What are your menu
offerings?
Please consult our catering
representative to discuss
menu options. Our chef is
available to help you
customize your specific menu
needs.
What is your payment
policy?
A deposit is required to
confirm any date. Deposits
are nonrefundable. All
deposits are applied to your
final invoice. Our deposit
schedule includes: An
initial deposit taken at the
time of booking Six-month
deposit Six-week deposit
Final payment is due 14 days
prior to the date of the
event.
What taxes and tips
are we billed for?
All banquet prices are
subject to a 5% Mass. meal &
beverage tax and a 20% house
fee. The house fee does not
represent a tip or service
charge for the wait staff,
employees, service
employees, or service
bartenders. It may, however
be used, in whole or in
part, to remunerate
employees involved in the
preparation of food &
beverage events.
Where should I order
my flowers?
Chatham Bars Inn Floral
Department can provide
centerpieces and floral
arrangements for catered
events. To set up an
appointment or for a

Do you provide china,
linen, tables and chairs?
We do provide china, silver,
tables and chairs as part of
your wedding package.
Specialty wedding linen and
chair cover rentals can be
arranged by our Catering
Manager for an additional
charge.
Can I bring in outside
chair and table rentals?
Catered parties that bring
in chairs and tables from
outside vendors that require
the removal of Chatham Bars
Inn furniture will be
charged a labor fee.
