Located on the second and third floors of our historic Main Inn, these rooms feature a deck or balcony overlooking Chatham Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy coffee watching the morning sunrise an afternoon cocktail while watching the fishing fleet return home.

All offer 1 or 2 queen size beds, fine linens and marble vanities. The perfect example of “a room with a view”, these rooms offer a breathtaking panorama of Aunt Lydia’s Cove and across the cove and famous Chatham sand bars to the Cape Cod National Seashore’s North Beach Island and beyond to the Atlantic Ocean.
Guests love these rooms not only for their amazing vistas but also for their ideal location with easy access to all the Inn has to offer. Situated on the second or third floor of the historic Main Inn, they are easily accessible by elevator or the Inn’s grand staircase. Beautifully decorated in a classic coastal theme, these rooms feature one or two queen beds with fine linens and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combination and a marble vanity.
The rooms are also appointed with a flat screen television, Nespresso coffee maker and a hot water boiler for tea as well as a lovely selection of teas and coffee. These Ocean View rooms each have a balcony inviting you to step outside to take in the fresh sea air. The ease of the Main Inn location is another highlight for guests choosing one of these rooms.
Our Main Inn first floor is home to our front desk, concierge, signature shop, STARS restaurant, Sacred Cod Tavern and Veranda restaurant (open seasonally). The Main Inn is also known for the expansive and welcoming South Lounge with multiple seating areas to visit with friends and family, a cozy fireplace to ready by on those cooler days and the newly redesigned library featuring stunning décor and unique architectural features which are quite captivating.
Step outside the Main Inn during the summer months to enjoy the breathtaking view of Aunt Lydia’s Cove from our classic Adirondack chairs or listen to live music at our outdoor Bayview Terrace. Wander through the Inn’s beachfront wooden boardwalks or flower-lined brick pathways along the 25-acre property. And regardless of the season, a walk on our private beach is always on our guests’ list of favorite pastimes.
