Chatham Bars Inn was built as a vacation resort for wealthy Boston families nearly 100 years ago. Today, the Main Inn and 29 cottages occupy 25 acres of beautifully manicured lawns and pristine beaches. Guests take a short and scenic walk down Shore Road to reach the boat launch and beach, the scene of summertime clambakes and barbeques.
